Christy graduated with a B.A. from Georgetown University in 2017, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Biology and Pre-Medical Studies. As an undergraduate, Christy worked in the Developmental and Cognitive Neuroscience Lab where she helped to investigate the cognitive effects of obesity in children. She additionally worked at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences on the Preventing Obesity in Military Communities - Adolescents Study. Christy is interested in understanding the biopsychosocial interactions that influence mental health in children and adolescents, and she hopes to pursue a career in Clinical Psychology. Currently, she is one of the research staff that runs the ABCD study.
