Erin is a current student at Yale School of Nursning and will graduate as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2019. She graduated with a B.S. from Georgetown University in 2011 and worked as a pre-kindergarten teacher in Washington, D.C. for two years; while teaching, she became interested in child development and psychology. In 2015, Erin earned a M.Ed. in Child Studies with a specialization in Poverty and Intervention from Vanderbilt University. While at Vanderbilt, Erin worked as a research assistant and research coordinator at the Education and Brain Sciences Research Lab. She is interested in learning about how family life and parent-child relationships influence a child’s development and mental health outcomes.
