Jasmine is originally from Los Angeles, California. She graduated with a B.A. from UCLA with a degree in Psychology in 2020. Prior to joining the FABLab, she worked as an undergraduate research assistant in Dr. Lara Ray’s Addictions Lab, and Dr. Adriana Galván’s Developmental Neuroscience Lab, where her research focused on identifying risk and protective factors for substance use among adolescents. She is primarily interested in identifying the underlying psychological and neurobiological mechanisms involved in adolescent risk taking behavior, such as substance use. Jasmine is interested in going to graduate school to pursue a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology. Outside of the lab, Jasmine enjoys listening to music, watching sports, and trying new foods.
